The laws of physics keep breaking when twenty-four year old Anise Viston wears the vintage necklace she received as a gift. But others want it too. Enough to kill for. While running for her life, Anise discovers that the necklace is an amulet that belongs to a set with earrings and a ring called the Armor Jewelry. According to legend, it was used by ancient warriors to give them superhuman powers to conquer in battle. The only way for Anise to survive is to become more powerful than her pursuers which means finding the other pieces of jewelry first—but that would entail beating a matriarch-led alliance of professional criminals at their own game. Armed with her protective amulet, Anise must brace herself for a supernatural fight that can only end one of two ways: win or die.
